Live broadcast of the 2020 OCU Graduation Ceremony
On March 24, 2021, OCU held its graduation and degree conferral ceremony. In consideration of the spread of the new coronavirus, the ceremonies were not held in their entirety this year, but instead were held by each faculty and graduate school, live broadcasted in the 140th Anniversary Auditorium on the first floor of Building 1, which was reopened on the day of the ceremony.

?This year, 1,502 students graduated with bachelor's degrees, 474 with master's degrees, 83 with doctoral degrees, and 8 with Juris Doctor degrees.
Following congratulatory words from President Arakawa, three of the 29 valedictorians from each faculty and graduate school received their degrees from the President online, while 26 received their degrees in person.
The ceremony received a timely end with a congratulatory speech from Osaka Mayor Ichiro Matsui.
